In this position, you will have a leadership role within the ATOM CPU architecture team. You will be working closely with the performance, design and strategic planning organizations to develop the feature set of future cores.
You should possess at least a Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical engineering. Additional qualifications include:
- Deep knowledge of CPU architecture (preferably x86) and microarchitecture expertise in the following areas: integer execution unit architecture and instruction scheduling or memory execution (load/store handling, cache control, memory translation).
- At least 7 years of directly relevant experience in these areas in a technical leadership position.
- RTL development experience is strongly preferred
- General understanding of micro-architectural performance analysis
- Knowledge in the other areas of CPU core micro-architecture (instruction fetch/decode, floating point execution)
